VESTIGE: Forgotten Odyssey is a dark, fantasy co-op RPG deck-builder set in the world of Nultara. You are not a savior, a hero, or anyone of importance. Live out your adventuring life as you wish in our handcrafted, tile-based open world. Your role in this story is a forgotten and untold one—but vital nonetheless.
Nultara
The continent of Nultara is home to a plethora of beings who claim these lands as their own. Each facing their own internal turmoil as the thin strands of peace begins to fade.
It is the start of a new era, one wrought with uncertainty and fear. A millennium of peace that brought races together seems nothing more than a facade, as old rivalries and grudges begin to resurface, looking to put blame as to why the world is beginning to fall into chaos.
Adventure Awaits!
The world of Nultara is full of people who need help, from collecting herbs, chopping wood, driving off pests, and clearing out dungeons. All requests wouldn't be possible with it's famous Adventurers Guild.
The Adventurers Guild is responsible for aiding it's worlds denizens with whatever issue they have, no matter how small it might be. It's neutrality in world affairs allows it to coexist within other kingdoms, allowing adventurers to travel all across the continent aiding whomever they can.
Dungeons
Nultara is full of dungeons for adventurers to make a name for themselves. Whether its natural ones hiding dark secrets within the lands natural beauty, or large scale dungeons created from the overflowing mana. Theres always something waiting to be explored.
Persistent Open-World
You can encounter many other adventurers while exploring. Whether in dungeons, towns, or out in the open world, there's always a chance you run into one of them.
Not all adventurers are friendly however, the rules within dungeons don't always reflect the open world. Some wont think twice to stab you in the back, directly or indirectly.
Classes
Warrior
The Warrior is your classic front-line melee user who uses their strength and shear willpower to dominate their enemies in-front of them. Wielding anything from their fists to Large two-handed weapons. They are the staple for any adventuring party.
Role: DPS/off-tank
Weapons:
- Swords, Axes, Maces, Spears, Hand-to-Hand
- Throwing Axes, Spears.
Races
Humans
Humans are the most abundant race in all of Nultara. There is nothing they can not do. While their life-spans are among the shortest of all the races, They achieve much quickly, allowing their race to prosper faster than others,
Their Origins can trace back all the way to the Worlds Creation. With them being the first children to The Mother Goddess Aurelia. However, current beliefs have split the race apart. With the Aurelari still praying to The Mother Goddess, while the Veridians Pray to her Daughter, Valmeria.
